What is InTech?
Welcome to InTech, a structured,
50 hour, Georgia Professional Development Program. Utilizing the
peer instructor modeling of technology connected lessons, InTech provides
many examples of effective technology based strategies that can serve as
a catalyst for change in the overall teaching and learning processes.
Participants will develop skills in the following five critical areas :

Use of Modern Technologies

Curriculum Integration
-
Designs for Learning
-
Enhanced Pedagogy
-
Classroom Management
Participating teachers learn
basic technology skills while focusing on project based activities that
use Georgia's Quality Core Curriculum.
What are the participant requirements
for InTech?
InTech participants will agree
to:

Attend seven eight hour training
sessions.

Critically examine their own
instructional practices to determine how technology can play a role in
enhancing the teaching and learning process.

Implement four technology connected
lesson plans and complete all InTech assignments (journal reflections,
professional readings, email responses, etc.).

Develop a group project (tri-board,
multi-media presentation, etc.) that displays teacher created materials
and student created projects developed during InTech.
